Thailand is well-connected to major cities around the world.

Bangkok’s modern Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is one of the world’s top airports, welcoming more than 40 million passengers annually and almost 80 international airlines with links to 170 cities around the globe.

The Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link runs directly into the centre of Bangkok to the Makkasan or Phaya Thai stations. You can choose between the express train, which takes 15 minutes and runs every half hour, and the city train, which takes 30 minutes and runs every 15 minutes.

Thailand is a visa friendly country.

Currently visitors from 75 countries and special administrative Region are automatically granted permission to enter the Kingdom of Thailand. Visitors from an additional 17 countries can apply for a “Visa on Arrival” at the Immigration Hall in all Thai international airports and border checkpoints.

The IDEG 2025 conference organizers will not be assisting with organizing visas on behalf of any delegates.
